Sneha’s Care is a locally registered charity in Nepal (Reg number 142068/072/073).
The charity was founded in 2015 by Sneha Shrestha to assist as many street dogs in Kathmandu as possible.
In 2015 Sneha Shrestha managed to open her own shelter where at the moment they house around 85 dogs with a total capacity for up to 200 dogs.
Sneha's Care is one of the very rare rescues that has a NO KILL POLICY.
SINCE Sneha Care Opened in 2015 it has:
Rescued Injured Street Dogs – More than 3000 Dogs
Spay/Neuter – 1150 Street Dogs
Rabies Vaccination – More than 4000 Street Dogs (Including rescued dogs)
Puppies Adoption – 120 Street Puppies, 12 Street Dogs
Protest against Animal Cruelty – While acid was attacked to one of the street dog in Tahanani Chowk
Animal Law – Writ Petition has been submitted to Supreme Court and Hearing is ongoing.
Animal Shelter – Built Animal Shelter where more than 300 dogs can accommodate.
Humane Education – Visited many schools & community for awareness
Demonstration for “Shooting dogs at the International Airport”
